The short version
SawKit collects nothing about you. No account, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, no crash reporting, no server of ours anywhere. Your cut lists, your stock prices and your projects stay on your own devices.
What SawKit stores, and where
Everything you type — projects, parts, sheet sizes, prices, saw settings — is stored on the device you typed it on.
If you turn on iCloud sync (part of SawKit Pro), that data is also stored in your private iCloud database, under your own Apple Account. We cannot see it. Apple's iCloud terms govern that storage; we receive no copy and no notification of it.
Turning sync off keeps everything on the device.
What SawKit sends, and to whom
Nothing, except in these two cases, and both are Apple's systems rather than ours:
- Buying SawKit Pro. The purchase goes through Apple's App Store. Apple tells the app whether the purchase succeeded. We never see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account.
- iCloud sync, if you turn it on. Your projects go to your own private iCloud database, as described above.
SawKit has no server. There is nothing for us to log, because nothing reaches us. The app works completely offline, which is deliberate — workshops tend to be the worst room in the building for signal.
Third parties
There are none. SawKit contains no third-party code: no analytics SDK, no attribution SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash reporter.
Children
SawKit does not collect data from anyone, of any age.
What you can do
- Delete a project inside the app, and it is gone from the device.
- Turn off iCloud sync in Settings to keep everything local.
- Delete the app to remove all local data. To remove synced data, delete SawKit's data from iCloud in your system settings.
Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to send you a copy of or to delete on request.
This website
This site is the same story. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no fonts, scripts or images from anyone else's domain, and has no advertising. Our host, Cloudflare, keeps ordinary server logs in order to serve and protect the site.
